{"id":962,"date":"2023-10-18T07:59:21","date_gmt":"2023-10-18T05:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.cere.se\/?p=962"},"modified":"2023-10-18T07:59:32","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T05:59:32","slug":"machine-learning-for-causal-inference-course-taught-at-cere-by-katya-vasilaky-and-eduardo-zambrano-of-cal-poly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.cere.se\/?p=962&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Machine learning for Causal Inference \u2013Course taught at CERE by Katya Vasilaky and Eduardo Zambrano of Cal Poly"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>From September 11<sup>th<\/sup> to 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 2023, Associate Professor <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cob.calpoly.edu\/directory\/profile\/kathryn-vasilaky\/\"><strong>Katya Vasilaky<\/strong><\/a><strong> and Professor <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cob.calpoly.edu\/directory\/profile\/eduardo-zambrano\/\"><strong>Eduardo Zambrano<\/strong><\/a><strong> \u2013both at Orfalea College of Businesst, Cal Poly\u2014 visited Ume\u00e5 to teach Machine Learning for Causal Inference \u2013a course attended by both students and faculty of CERE.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to this intensive course, Katya and Eduardo assisted our students on how machine learning can be incorporated into their ongoing research projects.
