{"id":931,"date":"2023-09-15T13:50:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-15T11:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.cere.se\/?p=931"},"modified":"2023-09-18T09:32:14","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T07:32:14","slug":"the-ulvon-conference-on-environmental-economics-2023-report-and-pics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.cere.se\/?p=931&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"The Ulv\u00f6n Conference on Environmental Economics 2023: report and pics"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The 29th edition of the Ulv\u00f6n Environmental Economics Conference took place the days just before Midsummer at the beautiful island of Ulv\u00f6n. ~30 participants enjoyed beautiful weather and the academic discourse was at highest level.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The keynote speakers Linda Nostbakken (NHH), Laura Taylor (GIT) and Erwin Bulte (WUR) all did an excellent job presenting their current research. Presentations exhibited an impressive quality and level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the highlights of the conference (photo Hanna Lindstr\u00f6m) is the tasting of the fermented herring. We were all thrilled to hear the story about the \u201csurstr\u00f6mming\u201d and how it has been an integral part of the island\u2019s history. The tasting is always an appreciated event.
