Sevil, a professor at Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University in T\u00fcrkiye, gave an inspiring talk titled <em>\u201cEvaluating the Economic and Environmental Impacts of Fossil Fuel Subsidy Removal: A Path Toward a Green Transition in T\u00fcrkiye.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The talk explored an analytical framework for assessing the macroeconomic and sectoral effects of phasing out coal subsidies, with a strong focus on climate implications and just transition challenges.
